  1. My wife saw part of your video, and asked me to tell you that ever since she gave up coffee about a month ago, she’s only had two, very minor incidents of GERD, which she was able to control. Before that she was having about four major incidents a week. She drinks green tea now, instead of coffee, and says that the tea hasn’t seemed to exacerbate the GERD at all.

I looked up High Level, AB, and damn, they don’t call it High Level for nothing. That’s way up north. It looks like it’s further away from you than Edmonton. I don’t blame you for not wanting to go there for surgery.

Sounds like just getting the doctor’s office to understand your request about getting on the waiting list early, is a frustrating challenge. I get why you want to do that. I think it’s a good idea. But who knows, maybe it violates some policy or law they have to follow. Or maybe you have to squeak your wheel enough to get them to do something. Being a squeaky wheel isn’t easy.

  2. Haha! I only have one cup ever in the am. That’s it. No other caffeine. I could try green tea.
My symptoms are constant. There’s never a time when it’s not happening and part of that is because of the hernia.

Yeah I don’t know why the hell they thought I lived in High Level. It’s just so weird. Why would anyone come from High Level to GP for a gerd surgical consult if they could get it done quicker in High Level.

I can’t wrap my head around how such a simple request has become such a complicated mess. With still no answer.
And in I was on the phone clearing up a mess with the bank when his secretary called back. I called the bank because the docs office said they weren’t going to call until the next day.

I don’t know if it violates a policy but if it does they could have told me that too.
I think I’m going to move to the US. Lol
